Dealerskins, one of the sponors of our user group is looking to fill a Web Developer role on their team. Here's the job description:

Dealerskins is a leading provider of Web applications and Web services to the automotive industry and we’re seeking a Web Developer to join our dynamic development team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate is a passionate, mid to senior level developer with a primary skill-set in client-side and server-side Web technologies. Candidate will report to the Development Manager and be responsible for helping in the creation, maintenance and improvement of the Dealerskins Web platform and all related tools and applications.

Ideal candidate MUST meet the following criteria:

--Positive, customer-focused, and team-oriented attitude
--Two or more years experience programming in a server-side language such as ColdFusion, PHP, Java, Ruby, or .NET (note: we use ColdFusion)
--Excellent working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, and CSS
--Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Prototype and/or Scriptaculous
--Excellent working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server
--Ability to write select’s, insert’s, update’s, delete’s, and joins independently
--Solid understanding of Flash application development or willingness to learn
--Ability to write highly optimized and readable code
--Desire to be part of a strong development team encompassing industry-leaders
--Strong written and verbal communication skills
--Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced development environment
--Ability to manage time effectively, meet project deadlines, and work independently


Skills and Experience Considered a Plus But Not Required:

--Experience with AJAX
--Experience with Eclipse, and Eclipse-based plugins
--Experience with Version Control software like CVS or Subversion
--Experience with data-driven Flash development including Flash Remoting and Web Services
--Experience with Adobe Flex 3
--Design experience in Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash and related software
