The Nashville ColdFusion User Group has joined the O'Reilly user group program!
How is this relevant to you and the group? First you are now eligible to
receive a 35% discount on O'Reilly, No Starch, Paraglyph, PC Publishing,
Pragmatic Bookshelf, Rocky Nook, SitePoint, or YoungJin products purchased
directly from O'Reilly. To receive the discount you must use a discount
code when purchasing orders through the O'Reilly online store
(http://www.oreilly.com/store) or via their 800 number (800-998-9938). Members
are also entitled to a discount on O'Reilly conferences and tutorials. User group
members should contact me for the discount code.
Lastly, we can now receive review copies of O'Reilly books simply by
requesting them. We can only receive review books if at least one person
agrees to read, and write a review of the book of course. After a book has been
reviewed it will go into the NCFUG library for use by other group members.
I believe these are really nice member benefits, so be sure and use them.
If you know of a book (or two or three) you feel would be great for our group
to review, please let me know and I'll request it from O'Reilly.
